Comparative Schools of Islamic Jurisprudence department offers 40 scholarships

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) UIN Jakarta offers scholarship for 40 student who choose Comparative Schools of Islamic Jurisprudence department for 2021/2022 academic years

Based on FSH press release on Tuesday (06/07/2021) stated that the scholarship was sourced from BLU funds of UIN Jakarta and only covers tuition fees for eight semesters.

Prospective students who are interested can enrol to UIN Jakarta through Independent enrollment type and choose the School Comparative Study Program as their first choice. Scholarship registration can be done online through https://tinyurl.com/beasiswaPM2021. Participants must also attach the necessary requirements.

In addition, FSH UIN Jakarta itself requires a number of requirements. Among them are; must have active and passive Arabic language skills, have memorized the Qur'an at least 1 juz, committed to completing studies within 8 (eight) semesters or 4 (four) years.

Furthermore, applicants must be ready to write a bachelor thesis in Arabic or English and able to memorizing the Qur'an at least 5 (five) juz as a mandatory requirement to graduate from the scholarship program.

Applicants are also required to take an oral exam and online interview on Tuesday 27 July 2021. The material for the oral exam includes Arabic, Qiraat al-Kutub, Al-Quran Memorizing and Islamic Insights. (usa/zm)
