Commemorating Mother's Day, UIN Jakarta holds UIN Award 2021

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta gave the 2021 UIN Award to a number of figures who have recorded achievements in various lines of their respective social-professional services. This award is given to enliven the International webinar on the occasion of mother’s day, Wednesday, (12/22/2021) at Harun Nasution Auditorium, campus I of UIN Jakarta.

“In order to appreciate individuals for their performance, it is deemed necessary to hold 2021 UIN Award awarding ceremony,” said the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her speech.

UIN Award 2021 itself consists of 31 categories of recipients. In general, these 31 categories are divided into two groups of recipients, namely individuals and institutions. Individual groups consist of prominent figures to lecturer-staff. While the institution consists of faculties and bureaus within UIN Jakarta.

In individual groups, several award recipients were selected. Among them, the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Amany Lubis MA as Recipient of the 2021 Indonesian Inspiring Woman Award, female activist Lies Marcoes Natsir MA as Inspirational Woman category, Australian researcher Professor Minako Sakai for the Women Economic Empowerment category, and Prof. Dr. Azyumardi Azra as as the giver of Book and Scholarship waqf.

Rector Amany is considered to have excelled with her role in the fields of science, Islam, and the development of Islamic universities in Indonesia. Lies was chosen because of her activities in research and social service on women's issues.

Meanwhile, Sakai is considered as someone who is consistent in research and social advocacy with the subject of women's empowerment. Azyumardi is known as a professor who for the last few years has provided scholarships for students through the Azyumardi Azra Sholarship program.

The next recipients of the 2021 UIN Award are Amelia Fauzia, Salamah Agung, and Zilhadia. Amelia is known to be active in promoting Islamic social philanthropy through the social trust fund (STF) UIN Jakarta. Salamah actively facilitates students to take part in internship and career programs in various national-international companies through the UIN Jakarta Career Center. Meanwhile, Zilhadia is quite active in producing patented research.

Furthermore, Sururin, Flori Ratna Sari and Hari Hendarto also received the same award. Sururin is a lecturer as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, while Flori is a research lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine who is productive in writing SCOPUS indexed articles. Hari Hendarto is the Dean of FK UIN Jakarta, he was trusted to lead the Covid 19 Task Force at UIN Jakarta in the midst of his busy schedule as medical personnel involved in handling the Covid 19.

Several other names were also selected in this awarding event. They are Maila Dinia Husni Rahiem, Rini, Euis Amalia, and Zahrotun Nihayah. Maila is the Associate Professor of the Early Childhood Islamic Education Department, FITK UIN Jakarta. She is quite productive in publishing her research articles. Then Rini who is listed as an active individuals who encourages the development of reporting accounting systems in various zakat institutions.

Then Euis Amalia. Euis is known as a female academic who is active in the study and practice of the national sharia economy, while Zahrotun is active as a lecturer and Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Jakarta.

Finally, UIN Jakarta also gave the 2021 UIN Award in the Best Employee category based on e-LKP. They are Ana Juriszariah Ramsi, Iin Handayani Dewi, and Rosmaeni. (zm/usa)
