Christmas and New Year's Holidays, prohibit its employees from taking annual leave
Rectorate, UIN News Online – All State Civil Apparatuses (ASN) of UIN Jakarta are prohibited from taking annual leave during the 2021 Christmas and 2022 New Year holidays. They are also advised not to travel outside the city.
This is the press release of Public Relations of UIN Jakarta received by UIN News Online, Wednesday (12/01/2021). According to release, the prohibition and appeal are contained in the Rector’s Circular letter number B-4612/R/HK.00.4/12/2021 issued on December 1st, 2021.
The letter, which is addressed to all ASN, both lecturers and education staff, is intended to avoid the spread of Covid-19 during the Christmas and New Year holidays. The letter was also issued as a follow-up to the Instruction of the Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs Number 62 of 2021 concerning on Prevention and Control of Corona Virus Disease 2019 on the Christmas holidays of 2021 and the New Year of 2022.
The press release also states that the phohibition is valid for 10 days from 24 December 2021 to 2 January 2022.
“ASN of UIN Jakarta are also asked to maintain health protocols and be aware of the spread of Covid-19 transmission in their respective environments,” said the release, as quoted by UIN News Online.
As is known, the government has officially prohibit all its employees from taking annual leave on the 2021 Christmas and 2022 New Year holidays. This was done to prevent and avoid the emergence of of the Covid-19.
Previously, the government had imposed a policy of implementing level 3 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) throughout Indonesia. (usa/ns)
