Central library of UIN Jakarta receives nugra jasa dharma pustaloka award

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Central library of UIN Jakarta is awarded with the Nugra Jasa Dharma Pustaloka award from the National Library of Indonesia (Perpusnas). The award was given because UIN Jakarta library managed to become the highest contributor in providing data for the Indonesia One Search (IOS) portal.

The award giving ceremony was held virtually at the Gemilang Perpustakaan Nasional 2021 event on Tuesday,(09/14/2021). Present in the event, Head of National Library Muhammad Syarif Bando, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis and the head of UIN Jakarta Central Library Amrullah Hasbana. Also present in the event, Indonesian Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian.

 “Of the 10 institutional libraries nationally, UIN Jakarta library is ranked as the second Top Contributor. The first rank was given to the library of Lambung Mangkurat University, South Kalimantan. While the third rank was given to the Office of Archives and Libraries of Central Java Province.” said Amrullah to UIN News Online in his office on Friday (09/17/2021).

In the future, continued Amrullah, the UIN Jakarta Library will continue to contribute to improving the reading culture of the Indonesian people.

“We will also continue to improve the library system,” he added.

For information, the Indonesia One Search (IOS) portal is the official website of the National Library of Indonesia. This site is used to search all sources of public collections from libraries, museums, archives, and electronic sources in Indonesia.

The collections recorded on IOS are collected by automatic harvesting methods from repositories belonging to various partner organizations.  (usa/ns)
