Career Center of UIN Jakarta-TVR Parlemen Will Organize TVRDAY’s

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Career Center of UIN Jakarta, in collaboration with Televisi dan Radio (TVR) Parlemen Senayan will organize an event titled "TVRDAY's. The activity will took place on 7-8 July 2022 in the Diorama Room, campus I of UIN Jakarta.

This was said by the Director of Career Center Salamah Agung to UIN News Online at Rectorate Building, Wednesday (07/06/2022). "The activity will be held in three sessions, namely seminars and socialization of TV Parlemen, practical knowledge sessions in the field of journalism, and presenter casting sessions,” she said.

Salamah said that this activity is a collaborative program that aims to provide students with knowledge and practical experience in the world of journalism. In these two sessions, she continued, students will not only receive knowledge and insight about TV Parlemen, but also practical experience in the world of journalism.

“I think this activity is very positive and will provide many benefits, especially for students who want to have a career in broadcasting or other media,” said Salamah.

TVRDAY's activities will be held for two days. The first day (7 July) the first session was in the form of a seminar and socialization of TVR Parlemen titled “Optimalisasi Media Internal DPR RI dalam Meningkatkan Kepercayaan Publik” by presenting two speakers, namely Indra Pahlevi (Head of Parliamentary News Bureau) and Kawiyan (Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Indonesian Broadcasting Commission).

The second session was in the form of training on Basic Journalism Techniques and Presenter Skills by presenting Muzakir Husain (Senior Journalist), Yuslihayanti (Editor of TVR Parlemen), and Jaka Sindu (Editor of TVR Parlemen).

As for the 3rd session on July 8, the event will be held in the form of Casting Presenter and Review of casting results. In this session, the event will showcase the participants' abilities to become TV and radio presenters.

“Previously, we had opened registration for video reporting competitions, including presenters casting sessions. The casting results will later be recruited as presenters at the TVR Parlemen,” said Salamah. (ns/usa)
