Campus Broadcasting Expo 2025 Brings Together Academia, Media, and Government for UIN Jakarta Students
Auditorium Harun Nasution, UIN Online News — DNK TV, Faculty of Da‘wah and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM), successfully hosted the Campus Broadcasting Expo (CBX) 2025 at the Harun Nasution Auditorium on Tuesday (30/9/2025), presenting academics, media practitioners, and government representatives to discuss digital literacy and the challenges of AI.
CBX 2025 carried the theme “Boom! Bold the Motion, Keep the Adaptation” with three main segments: Creativeflix (creative video competition), Intermezzo (dialogues on human–technology interaction), and Creatalk (the main event). The theme reflected the explosive pace of change, the need to stand firm amid shifting currents, and the importance of maintaining sustainable adaptation.
Dean of FDIKOM, Prof. Dr. Gun Gun Heryanto, M.Si., emphasized that communication students must adapt to rapid developments without losing their academic foundation.
“Students must think with a strong foundation while also nurturing creativity that adapts to the dynamics of the world. Digital media should be utilized to build a civilization of knowledge and bring benefits to humanity,” he stated.
Andromeda Mercury, journalist and news anchor at TVOne, shared her professional experience in maintaining integrity in journalism.
“In the digital era, the challenge for journalists is not only speed in delivering news but also accuracy and sustaining public trust,” she explained.
Enrico Jonathan, digital creator and the maestro behind @kokbisa, highlighted the role of youngsters in producing meaningful content.
“Young guys should not only be consumers but also creators. I believe that you have the courage to create works with educational value and positive impact for society,” he noted.
Representing the government, Farida Dewi Maharani, S.E., M.Si., Acting Director of Media Ecosystem, Directorate General of Public Communication and Media, Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, warned about the growing prevalence of hoaxes online.
"We live in a time when the public creates and consumes content simultaneously. The challenge lies in the flood of information and hoaxes that can erode public trust. That is why digital literacy and cross-sector collaboration become crucial,” she explained.
Muhammad Ghandur, Chair of the CBX 2025 Organizing Committee, expressed gratitude for the success of the event.
“Alhamdulillah, CBX 2025 reaches its peak with the support of many parties. We are deeply grateful to see such strong enthusiasm from participants. We hope the programs presented bring benefits to both students and the wider community,” he said.
CBX 2025 successfully gathered hundreds of participants from various universities and creative communities. The event is expected to serve as a platform for collective learning and inspiration for the younger generation in navigating the dynamics of digital media in the age of AI.
