BTN Donates 10 Portable Sinks to UIN Jakarta

Rectorate, UIN News Online – State-Owned Bank PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN / Persero) Tbk handed over 10 units of portable sinks to UIN Jakarta. The handover was given by the Branch Manager of BTN Ciputat Benny Budi Anggoro and was received directly by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis on Thursday (07/02/2020).

Also present in the event, Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Development of UIN Jakarta Andi Faisal Bakti and the Head of Covid-19 task force of UIN Jakarta Hari Hendarto.

Benny in his remarks said that the portable sinks donation was given as Bank BTN's support for the implementation of health protocols in the UIN Jakarta. “The government, through SOEs, including BTN, always encourages the implementation of health protocols as much as possible," he said.

In response, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis representing the academic community of UIN Jakarta expressed her gratitude. According to Amany, the provision of this portable sink will complement the health protocol instrument in the campus environment.

“Insha Allah this portable sinks will be useful for the entire academic community of UIN Jakarta,” she said.

She also added that the 10 portable sinks would later be deployed within the rectorate, faculty and institutional environment. It is expected that this equipment can be optimally used according to health protocols. Furthermore, the Rector also appealed to all academic community members who remain in the office to maintain healthy lifestyle. (usa/zm)
