BSI Scholarship Goes To Campus Encourages Students to Achieve Their Dreams with Scholarships

Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN News Online - BSI (Bank Syariah Indonesia) and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully held BSI Scholarship Goes To Campus event at UIN Jakarta's Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Theater, Friday (4/10/2024). The activity themed “Get Scholarship and Achieve Your Dreams” managed to attract hundreds of students to attend to get scholarship information.

The event was also attended by BSI Branch Manager of Tangerang Ciputat Branch; Johan Wahyudi, Branch Manager of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Branch, Tony Desiyanto and Retail Banking and Transaction Manager of Jakarta Pondok Indah Area, Ismeri. All three provided inspiration and motivation to the participants about the importance of education and effort in achieving goals.

The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Din Wahid, M.A., Ph.D. In his remarks, Warek Din Wahid revealed the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) system and his hope that BSI will also channel support for students through scholarships.

On the same occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Prof. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si., Ak., CA, also appreciated BSI Maslahat in supporting students through scholarship programs. Then, the chief executive, Abiyyu Achmad, also motivated the participants. “Opportunities like this are opportunities that should not be wasted. Make the most of this opportunity, dare to try, because the first step can be the beginning of a journey to a brighter future,” he said.

Furthermore, the presentation of material was carried out by representatives of scholarship awardees, Faiz and Mario, who discussed two categories of BSI Scholarship: Inspiration Scholarship and Achievement Scholarship. They explained that UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta partners with BSI in the Inspiration Scholarship category.

This event is expected to pave the way for participants to develop themselves and achieve success through scholarship programs offered by BSI. With this event, BSI and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta continue to be committed to producing excellent young leaders in the field of sharia and banking, in line with the tagline of the BSI Scholarship, namely Indonesian Sharia Young Leaders.
