Bridging Talent and Global Industry: UIN Jakarta Announces Career Compass Expo 2026 Featuring International Partners
JAKARTA, UIN Online News – The Career Center at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is set to host the Career Compass Expo (CCE) 2026. This premier career development summit connects students, alumni, and the general public with a diverse range of corporate enterprises and industrial partners. Centered around the theme “Build Your Career, Create Your Future,” the expo will take place from Wednesday to Thursday, June 3-4, 2026, at the Harun Nasution Auditorium.
The Head of the UIN Jakarta Career Center, Muhammad Kholis Hamdy, stated that the Career Compass Expo 2026 represents a strategic institutional effort to bridge university graduates with an evolving global job market. Through this initiative, attendees gain direct access to active job openings while building professional networks and upgrading their corporate readiness.
“We present the Career Compass Expo as a vital ecosystem where young talents intersect with tangible career opportunities. Participants can explore standard job vacancies while gaining critical insights into global career development, postgraduate studies, and the core competencies demanded by modern industries,” Hamdy noted in Ciputat on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
For this year's iteration, the expo features dozens of high-profile corporations and institutions spanning multiple industrial sectors. Confirmed participating enterprises include prominent banking and financial institutions like OCBC and BFI Finance, retail and pharmaceutical giants such as Indomaret and Pharos Indonesia, and international heavy machinery conglomerate XCMG. Additional partners include IDstar, SWAPRO, Work Abroad, Maxwell Leadership, Maxxy Academy, BossAI, Sparks Math, PT Multiutama Disposindo Jaya, PT Fabindo Sejahtera, and Jobhos Training and Recruitment.
According to Hamdy, the high volume of corporate participation highlights the growing corporate trust in the quality of UIN Jakarta graduates. Consequently, students and alumni must optimize this momentum to expand their professional horizons.
Beyond functioning as a standard job fair, the Career Compass Expo 2026 features a live Walk-in Interview program. This setup allows job seekers to undergo immediate, on-site screening with prospective employers, accelerating corporate recruitment cycles while giving candidates real-world interview exposure.
“Through the walk-in interview track, candidates can directly interact with talent acquisition teams and pitches their core competencies. This is an invaluable shortcut since the hiring process operates with heightened speed and efficiency,” explained Hamdy, who also serves as a faculty lecturer at the Faculty of Dakwah and Communication Studies (FDIKOM).
He further explained that modern workplace disruptions require university graduates to possess more than just high academic grades. Success in the current market demands adaptive skills, a collaborative mindset, and an analytical understanding of shifting industrial trends.
To address these needs, the expo incorporates dedicated Career Preparation masterclasses. These sessions will break down strategic career development models, global work and study migration opportunities, and skill-upgrading frameworks tailored for the digital transformation era.
“Our goal is to ensure UIN Jakarta students and alumni graduate not only with robust academic credentials but also with expansive access to professional networks and elite global employers. This expo is a testament to our commitment to supporting our graduates as they transition into the professional world,” he noted.
Concluding his statement, Hamdy invited students, alumni, and job seekers from various regions to utilize the expo as a defining first step toward engineering a successful professional future.
“We invite all students, alumni, and job seekers to attend and make the most of this opportunity. Arrive fully prepared, bring your polished resumes, expand your professional network, and engage directly with hiring managers. Your dream job or your next major career breakthrough might just begin right here at the Career Compass Expo 2026,” he concluded.
