The event took place in the Theater Room on the 2nd floor of the FST Building and was attended by national figures, academics, and industry players from both Indonesia and abroad.
One of the main figures present at the event was Dr. (HC) Rachmat Gobel, Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives and a national industry leader. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of national industrial development grounded in the noble values of Pancasila. “Industry is not just about profit; it's about building people and the nation. Our philosophy is like flowing water—every product, innovation, and decision must bring benefits to society,” stated Rachmat Gobel.
Also present at this forum were Abdullah Gobel Tadaharu Taguchi, and other important figures such as Damiri, Himawan Basuki, and Ade Kosasih. The speakers discussed Panasonic Gobel's contributions to national industrial development, covering its history, company philosophy, and the role of technology in addressing societal needs.
The event also highlighted a book that describes the values and spirit of the Gobel Group's founders, including their collaboration with Japanese partner Konosuke Matsushita. The book serves as an internal guide within the company for building a work culture that upholds dedication, sustainability, and industrial nationalism.
Dean of FST UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Rodoni, expressed his hope that collaboration between the campus and industry players can continue to be strengthened. “We see this as an opportunity to open up possibilities for research cooperation and technology development. The industrial and academic worlds must support each other,” he said.
The event concluded with a video screening profiling the Gobel family and their contributions to economic diplomacy and national development based on national values. The presence of industry figures and academics at this forum is expected to strengthen a shared commitment to creating an innovative young generation imbued with the spirit of Pancasila.
