Bonding Relationships: Cross-period Alumni Attended IKALUIN Jakarta Grand Reunion and National Conference at UIN Jakarta

Ciputat, UIN News Online – The Grand Reunion and National Conference (Munas) of the Alumni Association of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (IKALUIN) brought together thousands of alumni on Saturday (01/18/2025) at the Alumni Center Building, Second Campus of UIN Jakarta. The event aimed to strengthen connections among alumni from various periods and discuss the strategic direction of the organization for the future.

Prominent national figures, themselves alumni of UIN Jakarta, attended the gathering, including: Prof. Dr. K.H. Nasaruddin Umar, M.A., Minister of Religious Affairs, Raja Juli Antoni, M.A., Ph.D., Minister of Forestry, and Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'thi, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education

The event was also graced by UIN Jakarta leadership, including Rector Prof. Dr. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., Vice Rectors, Bureau Heads, and Faculty Deans, emphasizing the strong collaboration between the university and its alumni.

In his opening remarks, Rector Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar expressed deep appreciation for the organization of the Grand Reunion and National Conference. He underscored the event's significance in fostering alumni contributions toward campus development and societal progress.

"I am immensely proud to witness the remarkable enthusiasm of our alumni gathered here today," he said. "This Grand Reunion and National Conference demonstrate the strategic role UIN Jakarta alumni play in shaping various sectors of our society."

The Rector further emphasized the importance of alumni solidarity, expressing hope that the event would generate innovative ideas to advance the nation. "May this gathering strengthen the bonds among alumni and inspire ideas that lead to meaningful contributions for national progress," he added.

Chairman of IKALUIN Jakarta, Dr. H. Tb. Ace Hasan Syadzily, encouraged active participation from all alumni, highlighting the event as an invaluable opportunity to strengthen networks, exchange strategic ideas, and create tangible benefits for society.

"The Grand Reunion and National Conference of IKALUIN is a golden moment to showcase our unity and esprit de corps as proud alumni of UIN Jakarta," he remarked. "I invite all alumni to actively engage in this event and contribute to its success."

In his remarks, the Governor of Lemhannas RI praised the event, acknowledging its role in enhancing alumni cohesion and delivering positive impacts to society.
