Bangladeshi higher education authorities visit UIN Jakarta

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Representatives of Islamic Arabic University (IAU) Bangladesh and Bangladeshi higher education authorities make a visit UIN Jakarta on Thursday (04/11/2019). The visit, led directly by Vice Chancellor of IAU Muhammad Ahsan Ullah, and accompanied by other officials from the Ministry of Education of Bangladesh, University Grants Commision, Education Engineering Department (EED), and Bangladesh Planning Commision of the Government of the People ‘s Republic of Bangladesh.

During the meeting, Mohammad Ahsan said that the purpose of their arrival is to learn how Indonesia develop and improve their Islamic Education quality from Madrasah to University level.

“We also want to learn about UIN Jakarta’s scientific development and academic administrative management. This is important for educational institutions development in Bangladesh, especially for IAU,” he said.

In response, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis appreciated the interest of Bangladeshi higher education authorities in conducting study visit to UIN Jakarta. According to Amany, UIN Jakarta has the responsibility in developing the knowledge and Islam in Indonesia.

She also added that UIN Jakarta UIN Jakarta will continue to improve its quality assurance in the form of regional-global institutional accreditation.

“UIN Jakarta is accredited “A” by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). Additionally, dozens of study programs offered are also accredited “A”. UIN Jakarta is also committed to improving regional scale study program accreditation, such as Asean University Network Quality Assurance (AUN QA), and various university rankings such as QS World University Rankings,” said Rector.
