AUK Bureau Holds Socialization Regarding KMA Number 550 Year 2022

Diorama Room, UIN News Online – The Bureau of Public Administration and Personnel (BAUK UIN Jakarta conducted a socialization of the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs (KMA) Number 550 of 2022 concerning the Granting of Authorization for the Appointment, Transfer, and Dismissal of Civil Servants at the Ministry of Religion in the Diorama Room of Harun Nasution Auditorium on Tuesday (07/19/ 2022).

The socialization event presented an Associate Expert Staffing Analyst/Coordinator at the Assessment and Employee Development Section of the Secretariat General of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, Asroi as a resource person. Also present in the event, Deans, heads of bureaus, Deputy Deans for general administration, coordinators and sub-coordinators, and heads of centers and institutes.

According to Asroi, KMA Number 550 was stipulated and promulgated by the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qaumas on  May , 27, 2022. The KMA is a guideline and reference for the Secretariat General and all work units within the Ministry of Religious Affairs regarding personnel policies, especially in terms of the appointment, transfer, and dismissal of civil servants.

In addition, KMA Number 550 replaces two previously issued KMAs, namely KMA Number 441 of 2018 and KMA Number 492 of 2003. Therefore, with the issuance of new KMAs, the old KMA will no longer valid.

“Therefore, I am obliged to explain the substance of the material on KMA Number 550 to all the work units within the Ministry of Religious Affairs,” he said.

He said that one of the dictums that were taken into consideration for the issuance of KMA Number 550 was to improve effectiveness, orderly administration, legal certainty, and to prevent abuse of authority committed by authorized officials.

The substance of the KMA Number 550 material generally contains two important things. The first is concerning the Granting of Authorization for the Appointment and Transfer of Civil Servants and the second is concerning the Granting of Authorization to Dismiss Civil Servants with pension rights and without pension rights.
