Audience with UIN Jakarta Rector, IKALUIN Chairman Delivers Invitation for Halal Bihalal and Inauguration of New Board
Rectorate Building, UIN Online News — The Chairman of the Alumni Association of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (IKALUIN), Dr. H. Tb. Ace Hasan Syadzili, accompanied by several board members, held an audience with the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., at the Rectorate Building on Friday (April 25, 2025). The meeting was held in preparation for the upcoming Halal Bihalal and the inauguration of the IKALUIN Board for the 2025–2029 term.
On this occasion, the IKALUIN Chairman extended an official invitation to the Rector and the leadership of UIN Jakarta to attend the Halal Bihalal and the inauguration event, which will take place soon. This event is expected to serve as a moment to strengthen the bonds between alumni and their alma mater, as well as enhance mutual collaboration.
In his remarks, UIN Jakarta Rector Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar congratulated the newly formed IKALUIN Board. He expressed his hope that the new board would advance the alumni organization and make it more contributive. "I hope IKALUIN can become a strategic bridge in promoting the university’s progress through the active involvement of its alumni," he stated.
Furthermore, the Rector emphasized the vital role of alumni support in the development of UIN Jakarta, whether through networking, contributions of ideas, or collaborative programs. "Alumni are an inseparable part of the university’s journey and its future," he added.
The IKALUIN Chairman’s visit was warmly received by the Rector, along with the Vice Rectors, Heads of Bureaus, and other university leaders. In addition to the audience, the Chairman also took the opportunity to observe the latest developments and current condition of the campus.
It is known that IKALUIN has scheduled the Halal Bihalal and Board Inauguration for the 2025–2029 period at the Harun Nasution Auditorium Building on Sunday (April 27, 2025). Besides Rector Asep Jahar, the event will also be attended by the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. K.H. Nasaruddin Umar, M.A., and the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu’ti, M.Ed. (Zm)
