This assessment is a crucial part of the study program's accreditation, evaluation, and quality monitoring process, aiming to achieve an "Excellent" accreditation rank. This also marks the first accreditation process for the Doctor of PAI Study Program since its establishment, giving it strategic value in building its reputation and public recognition. The assessment activity was carried out by the Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Kependidikan (LAMDIK), an agency officially appointed by the government to assess the quality of education higher education.

The assessment process was directly accompanied by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, M.A., Vice Rector for Cooperation, Vice Deans of FITK, Head of LPM, Head of LPPM, professors, lecturers of the S3 PAI Study Program, and doctoral students. The presence of all these academic elements signifies institutional support in welcoming two LAMDIK assessors, Prof. Dr. Sukiman, S.Ag., M.Pd., from UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, and Prof. Dr. Husniyatus Salamah Zainiyati, M.Ag., from UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya.

In his remarks, Prof. Ahmad Tholabi expressed appreciation for the assessors' willingness to accompany the first accreditation process of the Doctor of PAI Study Program. He emphasized that assessment is not an investigative process but a collective effort to improve the quality of education.

"Field assessment is not an investigation. Assessors are our partners to strengthen each other," he asserted. He also stated that the academic atmosphere at UIN Jakarta is always open to external evaluation and input. "There are many good things from UIN Yogyakarta and UIN Surabaya that we can learn from. There's no need to worry because we are all friends," he added.

As an assessor, Prof. Dr. Sukiman appreciated the warm welcome from the extended FITK family. He affirmed that the assessors' presence was not meant to find faults but to ensure consistency between documents and field reality.

"Our presence is not like KPK members conducting an investigation. We are merely photographers—to ensure whether the picture in the document matches reality," he said. He explained that the assessment is conducted in two stages: data verification in the morning and interviews in the afternoon. Learning observations are scheduled as needed.

He hoped this assessment would become a shared learning space among institutions. "Hopefully, we can share experiences from Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Jakarta. Because we are truly one big family," he added.

Concurring, Prof. Dr. Husniyatus Salamah Zainiyati stated that the visitation is not a stressful process but a moment for joint clarification. “We are just taking pictures. To see if it is as beautiful as the original, corresponding to the photo sent in the LED document,” she said.

She hopes this assessment brings broad benefits. “May we learn from each other and strengthen each other, so that the Doctor of PAI Study Program at UIN Jakarta grows into a center for the study and development of Islamic education at national and international levels,” she concluded.

The two-day field assessment included verification of accreditation documents, interviews with academic personnel, and observation of the learning process. Lecturers, educational staff, and students appeared enthusiastic throughout the activities, demonstrating their commitment to improving UIN Jakarta's quality and academic reputation.

With a spirit of togetherness and collective effort, the FITK academic community holds great hope that this inaugural assessment by LAMDIK will yield the best results for the Doctor of Islamic Religious Education Study Program.
