Applicants of UIN Jakarta Reach 174,445 people

Ciputat, UIN News Online – Prospective students who enroll at UIN Jakarta continue to increase every year. For the academic year 2020/2021, the number of applicants reached 174,445 people. Meanwhile, the quota provided is only 6,000 people. This was said by the Head of the Academic Division of UIN Jakarta, Rasi'in MA to UIN News Online, Monday (09/07/2020) earlier this week. According to him, the number of applicants reached 174,445 people spread across the five enrollment types provided by UIN Jakarta. It is known, like several years before, UIN Jakarta recruited student candidates through five enrollment, namely SNMPTN, SBMPTN, UM-PTKIN, SPAN-PTKIN, and Independent enrollment. Of the total 174,445 registrants, each consisting of 9707 registrants on the SNMPTN enrollment type, SPAN PTKIN 103,448 registrants, SBMPTN 12,977 registrants, UMPTKIN 24,313 registrants, and 24,000 registrants for Independent enrollment. Compared to the quota provided, this selection is considered very competitive. Because, of the five enrollment types, UIN Jakarta only provides a quota for 6,945 new students.

The details are SNMPTN 905 students, SPAN PTKIN 978 people, SBMPTN 1,339 people, UMPTKIN 1,824 people and 1,899 people for Independent enrollment. (usa/zm)
