This achievement is proof of UIN Jakarta's commitment in improving the quality of education and curriculum conformity with global standards.
Data from the Quality Assurance Agency (LPM) UIN Jakarta, Monday (4/11/2024), states that the four study programs that have achieved ASIIN accreditation are Biology (S-1), Chemistry (S-1), Mathematics (S-1), and Physics (S-1). All of them are study programs within the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Jakarta.
Chairman of the Quality Assurance Agency (LPM), Prof. Dr. Khamami Zada, revealed that the acquisition of ASIIN accreditation was delivered directly by a ranking agency from Germany. According to him, this acquisition is an honor for the academic community of UIN Jakarta.
“This accreditation was achieved after going through a rigorous evaluation process by ASIIN, a Germany-based international accreditation agency known in the fields of science, engineering, and mathematics,” he said.
The rigorous evaluation process, he said, includes an assessment of various aspects. “The evaluation process includes an assessment of the curriculum, teaching quality, facilities, as well as the involvement of lecturers and students in academic and research activities,” he added.
UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A. Ph.D. highly appreciates this achievement and said that the international accreditation from ASIIN shows that UIN Jakarta has the quality of education that can compete at the international level.
“We hope this achievement will further strengthen the trust of the community and prospective students in UIN Jakarta's excellent programs, as well as encourage our efforts in producing graduates who are competent and able to adapt in the global era,” he said.

“God willing, the Faculty of Science and Technology will continue to strive to maintain international standards in learning and research to meet the expectations of stakeholders,” he added.
