Al-Madinah Islamic High Schoolers Explore Academic Prospects at FITK UIN Jakarta
Theater Room, UIN Online News — Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta welcomed a study visit from Al-Madinah Islamic Center High School to the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Teacher Training (FITK) on Thursday (September 11, 2025).
Representing the faculty leadership, Dr. Yudhi Munadi, S.Ag., M.Ag., Vice Dean for General Administration at FITK, encouraged the pupils to carefully explore their academic interests when choosing a field of study in college.
“Get to know yourself first. Start by trying different things—read widely and explore topics that spark your curiosity. That way, when the time comes, you can set your goals with confidence rather than feeling overwhelmed by the many choices UIN Jakarta offers,” he advised.
Zaenal Muttaqin, S.Th.I., M.Ag., Head of the Information and Public Relations Center, also addressed the students. He highlighted FITK as UIN Jakarta’s oldest faculty, equipped with comprehensive facilities and supported by dedicated academic staff.
“FITK is an excellent starting point for those interested in pursuing careers in education, whether as teachers or researchers,” he added.
Meanwhile, Taufan Maulana Firdaus, S.Pd., a staff member at the Information and Public Relations Center, gave a presentation on UIN Jakarta’s admission pathways, including SNBP, SNBT, PTKIN, UM-PTKIN, Independent SPMB, and scholarship programs. He also introduced the university’s supporting facilities, Student Activity Unit (UKM), Autonomous Unit (LO), and student exchange opportunities.
“Make the most of the government’s education funding support—it’s meant for you as the main beneficiaries,” he emphasized.
Yuni Aswani, principal of Al-Madinah Islamic Center High School, also expressed her positive impression of UIN Jakarta.
“Each time I visit Campus I, it feels greener, more serene, and more welcoming. The facilities and accredited faculties are truly excellent. I hope UIN Jakarta continues to grow and that more of our students are accepted here,” she said.
This visit aims to broaden students’ understanding of UIN Jakarta’s academic opportunities, achievements, and educational facilities.
