AIESEC Global Volunteer Delegation Visits UIN Jakarta
UNI Club, UIN News Online –UIN Jakarta receives a visit from Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (AIESEC), Tuesday (08/6/2019). Their visit was welcomed by Vice Rector for Cooperation Andi Faisal Bakti, accompanied by the Head of CIC UIN Jakarta Dadi Darmadi, at the UNI Club, campus I of UIN Jakarta
Andi Faisal in his speech hoped that the participants could enjoy their stay in Indonesia. He also hopes that the participants can learn many things about society and culture in this country. Furthermore, he also explained that UIN Jakarta is an internationally recognized university that also accepts International students.
Meanwhile, Vice President of Global Incoming Volunteer at AIESEC for the South Tangerang City Fitri Febrina, said that the global volunteer program in Indonesia for this year was attended by 27 participants from 13 countries in Asia, Europe and America. They will be in Indonesia for six weeks until August 28, 2019. The focus of their activities will include community development and empowerment in south Tangerang, Banten.
“We have two programs, namely global youthpreneur, especially in medium, small and micro enterprises (MSMEs), and public health (global healer project),” she said.
For information, AIESEC is the world’s largest non-profit youth-run organization. It is an international non-governmental not-for-profit organization that provides young people with leadership development, cross-cultural global internships, and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe.
