Again, UIN Jakarta Won First Place in the Assessment of PTKIN's e-SMS Dashboard in Indonesia

Rectorate, UIN News Online – For the umpteenth time, UIN Jakarta won first place in filling out the Electronic Dashboard application for the Strategic Management System (e-SMS) at the level of UIN throughout Indonesia. Of the 24 UINs throughout Indonesia, UIN Jakarta received the very good predicate with a total score of 8,896.08 points.

Based on offcial release of UIN Jakarta Public Relations office which was received by UIN News Online on Friday (09/15/2022). According to the release, the first rank of e-SMS UIN Jakarta was obtained from the official announcement of the Directorate General of Islamic Education of the Ministry of Religion (Ditjen Pendis Kemenag) on July 20, 2022.

The elements assessed include four criteria, namely Good University Governance (GUG), University's Performance Improvement (UPI), Competitive Advantages University (CAU), and Global Recognition University (GRU).

The evaluation of the e-SMS Dashboard was carried out from March 29 to June 10, 2022. The PTKIN e-SMS dashboards assessed were State Islamic University (UIN), State Islamic Institute (IAIN), and State Islamic College (STAIN).

Based on a release delivered by the Director General of Islamic Education at the Ministry of Religion Number B-1830/DJ.I/HM.01/07/2022 dated 27 April 2020, it was stated that out of 24 UINs throughout Indonesia, UIN Jakarta was ranked first with a total score of 8,896.08. points. Clearly, from the four elements assessed, GUG received a score of 3,962.86 points, UPI (2,455.59 points), CAU (1,876.95 points), and GRU (600.68 points).

While the second and third places were achieved by UIN Bandung and UIN Semarang, respectively. UIN Bandung got a total score of 8,354.51 points. The details are GUG (3,880.74 points), UPI (2,323.18 points), CAU (1,590.14 points), and GRU (560.46 points).

Meanwhile, UIN Semarang received a total score of 7,510.51 points. The details are GUG (3,711.19 points), UPI (2,036.28 points), CAU (1,367.84 points), and GRU (395.21).

In addition to getting the first rank at the level of UIN in Indonesia, UIN Jakarta also got the first rank for the PTKIN level in Indonesia.

As for the IAIN level, out of 29 IAINs throughout Indonesia, IAIN Batusangkar, West Sumatra, was ranked first with a total score of 8,400.70 points. While at the STAIN level, out of 5 STAINs throughout Indonesia, STAIN Mandailing Natal, North Sumatra, got first place with a total score of 6,368.22 points.

The e-SMS ranking is an initiative from the Affairs Directorate General of Education and Culture, Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs aimed to formulate the PTKIN Development Stage from 2015-2034. The aim is none other than to measure the quality of PTKIN governance in Indonesia. (ns/usa)
