Again, UIN Jakarta Delegates Win Championships in Malaysia

Rectorate, UIN News Online –  The Debate Team From Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah (FDI) UIN Jakarta won the first prize at the IPT ASEAN event, held on Friday-Monday (March 30-April 2/2018), at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM).

The event that carried the theme “Wasatiyyah Asas Transformasi Belia” is followed by some university representatives from the ASEAN countries.

From UIN Jakarta, in this case FDI, sent three students to participate in the prestigious championship. The three students are Khairul Mufid Zubairi (6th semester), Muhammad Difa El Haq (4th semester), and Qolbun Salim Alfaruqi (4th semester).

It is known that Khairul Mufid Zubairi was the defending champion in 2017 and then came out as the best debater in the same event.

For information, since 2013, FDI UIN Jakarta always sent its delegation to participate in the Arabic Debate Competition at IHTIFAL Institusi Pengajian Tinggi (IPT), which was held in Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

In the first year, the FDI debate team won the first place, 2016 only as a participant, in 2017 won the 2nd place and the best debater, and 2018 got 1st place and the best debater. (usa)
