Afghan Acting Minister for information and culture visits UIN Jakarta
Rectorate, UIN News Online – To maintain the good relationship between the Afghan Government and UIN Jakarta, Acting Minister of information and culture of Afghanistan Hasina Safi visit UIN Jakarta on Thursday (11/28/2019).
Her visit, accompanied by Indonesian Ambassador to Afghanistan Arief Rachman, and Afghanistan Ambassador to Indonesia Faizullah Zaki Ibrahimi was welcomed by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis accompanied by Vice Rector for Cooperation Andi Faisal Bakti, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Jakarta Lily Surayya, and the FST Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Nasrul Hakiem.
Rector in her remarks hoped that this visit would strengthen the good relations between the two countries. She also added that UIN Jakarta has hundreds of International students, including students from Afghanistan.
In response, Hasina Safi admitted that he is very proud by the UIN Jakarta’s national and international achievements and hoped that UIN Jakarta can collaborate with universities in Afghanistan. “Our government will encourage the improvement of educational quality,” she said.
After the meeting, Hasina Safi had the opportunity to visit FST and conduct discussion activities with several students.
For information, Hasina Safi was born 1974, in Laghman province. She completed her primary education in Nahid Shaheed School and secondary in Malalay High School and graduated from Law and Political Sciences at the Tolo-e-Aftab Private University. She also possesses over 20 years of experience in the field of centralized development, organizational expansion, creation of policies and women empowerment and capacity building programs and advocacy for women rights, building of peace and human rights.
