Admission process for SNMPTN 2017 Has Been Started

snmptnRectorate, UIN News Online – Admission process for the National Selection State University SNMPTN 2017 Has Been Started since Saturday, (1/14). The process is started from applying the School and Student Data Base (PDSS), PDSS verification, SNMPTN registration, SBMPTN participant identification card printing, selection process and the announcement of the selection results.

SNMPTN is national selection admission implemented by Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture and applied by all of Indonesia State Universities in one integrated system, which implementation costs borne by Government, hence participants do not be charged the registration fee. SNMPTN selection criteria are based on academic achievement by report grades and other achievements of participant during high school period.

This was conveyed by the sub-division head of publication and documentation UIN Jakarta Feni Arifiani MH to UIN News Online in his office, Wednesday, (1/25).

He also added that every upper secondary school (SMA/MA/SMK) have the right to register their students to participate in SNMPTN. However, the school must already have the National School Identification Number (NPSN) and the principal and the students need to fill the track record of academic achievement data through http://www.pdss.snmptn.ac.id.

“Students who want to enroll in this 2017 SNMPTN should notice that they must obtained the best grades in their school and evidenced by the grades from the first until fifth semesters (three-year study period) and the first until seventh semester for vocational school students (four-year study period),” he added.

Based on UIN Jakarta Academic Guidebook, the admission process for SNMPTN 2017 are follows, data filling and PDSS verification on January 14-February 12, SNMPTN registration on February 21-March 6, SNMPTN participant identification card printing process on March 14-April 14, selection process on March 14-April 14, and the result will be announced on April 27, 2017.

If the students passed the selection test, they must perform the re-registration process in each state university on May 16, 2017 along with SBMPTN 2017 written test.
