AD Scientific Index put UIN Jakarta as second best university in Indonesia

Rectorate, UIN News Online - The AD (Alper-Doger) Scientific Index 2022 ver 1 put UIN Jakarta as the second best university in Indonesia under the Gadjah Mada University (UGM). This position also puts UIN Jakarta at the first position for State Islamic Higher Education Institution (PTKIN). Based on the AD Scientific Index data accessed by UIN News Online on Saturday (01/22/2022), 2 scientist of UIN Jakarta are also listed as the top scientist in Indonesia. They are Azyumardi Azra and M Quraish Shihab. The index also revealed that Azyumardi Azra has a total H-index of 53, i10 index with a total of 260 and a total of 15755 citation scores. Meanwhile, M Quraish Shihab has a total of H-index of 52, i10 index with a total of 124 and a total of 34573 citation scores. In response, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis said that she was proud with this accomplisment. "We must work even harder to maintain the good reputation of UIN Jakarta both at national and international level," she said. For information, the AD Scientific Index The AD Scientific Index is a ranking and analysis system based on the scientific performance and the added value of the scientific productivity of individual scientists by using the total and last 5 years’ values of the i10 index, h-index, and citation scores in Google Scholar. The index was developed by Prof. Dr. Murat ALPER (MD) and Associate Prof. Dr. Cihan DÖĞER (MD). Furthermore, the index also provides rankings of institutions based on the scientific characteristics of affiliated scientists. (usa)
