Academic community of UIN Jakarta celebrate Eid al-adha

Rectorate, UIN News Online – To commemorate the Eid al-adha, UIN Jakarta slaughters a total of 15 cows and 10 lgoats on Monday, (08/13/2019). All sacrificial cattles are donations from various institutions or individuals.

The reception and slaughter of sacrificial animals symbolically carried out on campus 1 of UIN Jakarta.  Present in the event, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, Vice Rector for Cooperation Andi Faisal Bakti, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Masri Mansoer, Vice Rector for General Administration Ahmad Rodoni, Faculty Deans, and several representatives from UIN Jakarta partner institutions.

Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her remarks expressed her gratitude for the trust of all parties who had entrusted their sacrificial cattle to be sacrificed at UIN Jakarta. “On behalf of the leadership of UIN Jakarta, I can only say my heartfelt thanks to all parties. May the sacrifice be accepted by Allah SWT,” said Rector.

For information, the slaughtering and distribution of sacrificial meat is carried out at three locations, campus 1 Ciputat, Professional Teacher Education (PPG) building, Bojongsari , and on Cikuya, Tangerang, Banten. (usa)
