Abdillah el Habib is chosen as the National Language Ambassador 2021

FDI, UIN News Online – Abdillah el Habib, a student of the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah (FDI), UIN Jakarta was named the second best Language Ambassador at the 2021 National Language Ambassador Selection event. The award ceremony was held on the peak night of the 2021 National Language Ambassador election at the Mercure Ancol Hotel, Jakarta, Monday (10/18/2021).

The selection of the 2021 National Language Ambassador event was attended by participants from 30 provinces in Indonesia on October 14-19 , 2021. The event was organized by the Language Development and Development Agency, Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology.

According to Abdillah el Habib, he managed to eliminate 167 participants and was named the first best participant of the Banten Province Language Ambassador.

“From a total of 167 participants who took part in the selection, I was chosen as the first best participant in Banten Province,” said Habib to UIN News Online, Tuesday (10/19/2021).

In preparation for the election, he must prepare for mastery of languages, such as Indonesian, English, and regional languages. In addition, he also has to develop talents and become a linguistic and literary volunteer in Banten Province. As for talent development, he practiced arts and culture in Banten Province for ten days in Rangkasbitung.

Abdillah hopes that he can continue to contribute and play an active role in guiding and managing the trigatra bangun bahasa for the Indonesian people, especially the people in Banten Province.

“Hopefully I can bring the good name of UIN Jakarta and Banten Province,” he said. (usa/ns/tp)
