9 Journal of UIN Jakarta Receives Appreciation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs
Bandung, UIN News Online – Nine scientific journals accredited by Sinta 1 and Sinta 2 from UIN Jakarta are appreciated by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag). This appreciation was given directly by the Indonesian Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs (Wamenag) K.H. Zainut Tauhid Sa'adi in closing the 2019 Biannual Conference on Research Result which took place at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Wednesday (12/04/2019).
The nine UIN Jakarta journals are Studi Islamika, Tarbiya: Journal of Education in Muslim Society, Signifikan: Jurnal Ilmu Ekonomi, Etikonomi, Arabiyat: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab dan Kebahasaaraban, Edusains, Arabi: Journal of Arabic Studies, Ilmu Ushuluddin, and Al-Kauniyah: Jurnal Biologi.
Separately, Muhammad Nida Fadlan, one of the Studia Islamika editors, confirmed the acceptance of the appreciation obtained by the journal which was published in 1994 with the specialization of the publication of Islamic studies in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
Nida also added, this appreciation complements a series of achievements received by its managers. Previously, a journal with Prof. Dr. Azyumardi Azra as Editor in Chief and Oman Fathurahman as Managing Editor won a number of awards such as the Scopus indexed journal with Grade Q2 in 2015, the best national journal award from the Ministry of Research and Higher Education in 2016, and the best journal award from the Directorate of Islamic Higher Education, Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Separately, Dr. Azkia Muharom Albantani also his expressed gratitude for the appreciation and incentives provided by the Ministry ofReligious Affairs for its journal, Arabiyat: Journal of Arabic Language Education and Languages. "Alhamdulillah, the appreciation will motivate us in conducting scientific publications at UIN Jakarta," he said. (usa/zm)
