73 civil servants of UIN Jakarta receives the Satyalancana Karya Satya

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – As many as 73 civil servants of UIN Jakarta receives the Satyalancana Karya Satya from the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo. The ceremony was carried out symbolically to three civil servants by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis at the 76th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia at the Harun Nasution Auditorium, Campus I of UIN Jakarta on Tuesday,  (08/17/2021).

The award ceremony, which was also carried out virtually through the Zoom and Youtube channels, was attended by the Chair of University Senate Abuddin Nata, Vice Rectors, deans, bureau chiefs, and several officials of UIN Jakarta. The three civil servants who symbolically received the award were Zulkifli (Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, 30 years of service), Agus Rifai (Graduate School senior librarian, 20 years of service), and Masyrofah (Assistant Professor of Sharia and Law Faculty, 10 years of service).

The Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her remarks congratulates the employees who received the Satyalancana medal for their service and dedication at UIN Jakarta.

“This award is expected to motivate civil servants to always perform their duties more profesionally in order to achieve optimal work performance,” said Rector.

Current situation, condition, she added, has has spurred us to innovate and develop new ways to advance this beloved campus. “This pandemic has galvanized us. Therefore, we are required to remain strong in dealing with situations like today,” she said.

In addition, she also invited the academic community to ignite the spirit of nationalism and cooperation for the progress of UIN Jakarta.

“I hope this spirit will always be present for a better Indonesia and UIN Jakarta. May Allah always give us His grace and guidance for all of us,” said Rector Amany.

Of the 254 civil servants who received the medal, the 30-year Saytalancana Karya Satya was awarded to Nasaruddin Umar (Professor from the Faculty of Ushuluddin), the 20-year Saytalancana Karya Satya to Jajat Burhanuddin (Professor from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the 10-year Saytalancana Karya Satya was awarded to Samsudin (Sub-division head of Publication and Documentary).

For information, the Satya Lencana Karya Satya is awarded to distinguished civil servant for years of loyal and faithful service of dedication. The medal is awarded in 3 classes: 10 years of service, 20 years of service, and 30 years of service. (usa)
