6,685 Participants Take SSE UM-PTKIN Exam at UIN Jakarta, Rector Ensures Safe and Orderly Process
Rectorate Building, UIN Online News—A total of 6,685 selection participants are taking the Electronic Selection System (SSE) State Islamic Religious Higher Education Entrance Examination (UM-PTKIN) 2025 at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta's examination sites. The exams are scheduled to take place from June 10–12, 2025, and June 14–18, 2025.
After attending the opening of the SSE UM-PTKIN 2025 implementation at the Academic Building on Tuesday (June 10, 2025), UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., affirmed that the examination process is running safely, orderly, and according to procedure. The appointed local supervisory team is ensuring the entire exam process is overseen with full integrity while prioritizing the comfort of all participants.
“UIN Jakarta is committed to providing the best service in the implementation of this exam. We ensure all facilities, supervisors, and committee members work optimally so that the process runs smoothly and fairly,” he stated.
For this year's implementation, UIN Jakarta is providing 10 SSE UM-PTKIN examination points, located across Campus I, Campus II, and Campus III. At these various locations, 6,685 selection participants are directly taking the exam at UIN Jakarta's local sites.
The 6,685 selection participants represent a portion of the 9,419 individuals who successfully completed the selection registration targeting UIN Jakarta. Meanwhile, the total national interest for UIN Jakarta itself reached 17,454 applicants.
The Rector also revealed that UIN Jakarta's UMPTKIN examination sites are also facilitating 6 participants with disabilities. “I ask the committee to assist these students who are taking the exam, especially those with disabilities,” he urged.
Furthermore, the Rector also conveyed a message and hope to all exam participants to undergo this selection process well and with high spirits. “We pray that all participants will be granted ease and the best results in taking the exam. Always stay motivated, maintain your health, and show your best abilities,” he advised.
The Rector also reminded those who pass or those who are not fortunate not to be arrogant or give up. “We hope that the successful participants will become a young generation that is not only academically excellent but also possesses integrity, is religious, and ready to contribute to the nation and the ummah,” Prof. Asep's message concluded.
It is known that UM-PTKIN is one of the admission pathways for new prospective students. Through this pathway, UIN Jakarta offers 30 excellent study programs in various faculties, such as the Islamic Religious Education Study Program in FITK, the Qur'anic Studies Program in the Faculty of Ushuluddin, and the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah.
