60 New Students Inducted as Paskibra Members, Ready for the 79th Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony and PBAK 2024

Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN News Online — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta inducted 60 members of the Flag Raising Troops (Paskibra) in a ceremony led by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D. at Harun Nasution Auditorium, Thursday (15/8). The Paskibra members consist of 12 men and 48 women who were selected from more than 250 applicants from among the new students.

The 60 Paskibra members who were inducted are new students who passed the selection through the SNBP-SNBPT and SPAN PTKIN-UM PTKIN channels. The inducted procession was solemnly witnessed by a number of university and faculty officials, as well as the administrators of the Jayakarta Student Regiment Unit of Wiradharma UIN Jakarta and other student activity units.

In his speech, Prof. Ali Munhanif M.A. Ph.D. expressed his appreciation for the Paskibra members who have been selected. “You will not only raise the flag, but also raise pride in yourself. Because this is the first history for you as new students at UIN Jakarta,” he said.

Commander of Jayakarta Student Regiment Unit of Wiradharma UIN Jakarta, Zulfikar Ali Musa, added that the new Paskibra members will be in charge of two major events, namely the 79th Indonesian Independence Day commemoration ceremony on August 17, 2024 and the opening of PBAK 2024 on August 27, 2024. “This inducted is the first step to create a new history as a UIN Jakarta student,” he said.
