3 study programs will be certified by the AUN-QA

Rectorate, UIN News Online – ASEAN University Network-Quallity Assurance (AUN-QA) will certify three study programs at UIN Jakarta. The three study programs are Akhwal Syakhsiyah (Islamic Family Law), Management, and Informatics System.

Vice Rector for General Administration of UIN Jakarta Ahmad Rodoni on Wednesday (04/25/2019) said that the three faculties must prepare themselves as well as possible.

Furthermore, he hopes that all parties involved can work together for the success of the AUN-QA certification process.

Meanwhile, the UIN Jakarta’s Head of Center for Audit and Quality Control Jejen Jaenudin stated that stated that the committee was preparing all procedures for the certification process, both at the university level and in the three faculties.

For information, ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) network is a group of Chief Quality Officers (CQOs) appointed by the AUN member universities as the focal point for coordinating activities to realize the mission of harmonizing educational standards and seeking continuous improvement of academic quality of universities in ASEAN. The AUN-QA activities are carried out by the CQOs in accordance to the Bangkok Accord adopted in 2000, which provides a series of guidelines to promote the development of a quality assurance system as instruments for maintaining, improving and enhancing teaching, research and the overall academic standards of AUN member universities. Since the establishment of the Bangkok Accord in 2000, AUN-QA has been actively promoting, developing, and implementing quality assurance practices based on an empirical approach where quality assurance practices are shared, tested, evaluated, and improved.

In 2016, AUN-QA also certified four study programs at UIN Jakarta. The four study programs are Islamic Guidance and Communication Development, Islamic History and Civilization, Islamic Religious Education, and Dirasat Islamiyah. (usa)
