25 young physicians of FK UIN Jakarta take the Hippocratic Oath

Ciputat, UIN News Online – 25 young physicians from the Faculty of medicine (FK) UIN Jakarta take the virtual Hippocratic Oath on Thursday (10/15/2020), led by the Dean of FK UIN Jakarta Hari Hendarto.

Also present in the event, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, Deputy Deans, network hospitals representatives from Jakarta and Banten, and representatives of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Banten. Also present in the event, representatives from the scholarship-giving agencies, such as the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Provincial Government of South Sumatra, and the Government of Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra.

Rector Amany Lubis in her remarks appreciates and congratulates the newly appointed physicians. “Congratulations to all new physicians who have been sworn in today. To all partners, we thank you for your cooperation, hopefully this commitment continues for the benefit of the community,” said Rector.

Meanwhile, Dean of FK UIN Jakarta Hari Hendarto hope that the newly appointed physicians can maintain and carry out the oath they are taken. According to Hari, being a physician is an honored call to protecting the public health.

“ As an alumnus of the Faculty of Medicine UIN Jakarta, you must be able to maintain the good name of your alma mater. Make this profession as a means to serve the community,” said Hari. (usa)
