2025 KIP-K Scholarship at UIN Jakarta Now Open for Applications

Student Affairs Building, UIN Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially launched the 2025 KIP-K (Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah) Scholarship Registration at the Student Affairs Building on Monday (September 8, 2025). The event was attended by UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., Head of Student Affairs Team Muhammad Furqon, S.Pd.I., M.A., education staff, FORMABI representatives, and other invited guests.

In his remarks, the Rector of UIN Jakarta stated that the KIP scholarship program is a concrete form of government support in expanding access to higher education.

“The quota for UIN Jakarta this year is 400 students, out of a total of 25,964 recipients under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This number has slightly decreased from last year’s 30,000, reflecting the government’s commitment to providing opportunities for students to pursue higher education,” he explained.

The Rector further added that the total budget allocated for the 2025 KIP Kuliah program exceeds IDR 171 billion.

“The government is managing the best resources to support students in pursuing higher education. In the name of Allah, I hereby officially declare the 2025 KIP-K Registration at UIN Jakarta open,” he said during ribbon-cutting ceremony.

One of the KIP-K scholarship recipients, Syahvira Nur Rokhmawati, a 2024 Psychology Faculty student, expressed her gratitude, stating that the scholarship has significantly eased her family’s financial burden. According to her, the scholarship helps cover tuition fees, study materials, and transportation costs. She also expressed hope that all recipients would utilize the support wisely so that the assistance provided by the government is not wasted.

The registration for the 2025 KIP-K Scholarship at UIN Jakarta opens on September 9, 2025, and closes on September 15, 2025. After the online registration through the official KIP Kuliah website, the next stage will be the selection interview on September 25, 2025. The selection process will be conducted strictly following the technical guidelines of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and UIN Jakarta’s internal regulations, taking into account administrative requirements, achievements, and interview results.

The launch of the 2025 KIP-K Scholarship Registration at UIN Jakarta not only opens broader opportunities for new students from various admission pathways but also ensures that the selection process is transparent, fair, and compliant with existing regulations.
