2 Scouts of UIN Jakarta Receive the National Exemplary badge
Rectorate, UIN News Online – Two Scouts of UIN Jakarta, Rahmalia Agustina Putri and Rokib, received a national level award in the form of Teladan Nasional (National Exemplary) badge 2021 from the National Scout Movement. The award was given virtually on the 60th Scout Day along with a number of other recipients at the Pandansari Building, Cibubur, East Jakarta, Saturday (08/14/2021).
The award was symbolically given by the Chairman of the National Scout Movement Kwartir Komjen Pol (Purn) Budi Waseso and witnessed by President Joko Widodo as Chairman of the National Advisory Council of the Scout Movement.
Rokib, who currently serves as the administrator of the DKI Jakarta Regional Work Council (DKD), received the award based on the National Scout Movement Decree No. 215 of 2021. Meanwhile, Rahmalia received an award based on the National Scout Movement Decree No. 217 Year 2021.
The award was given because they succeeded in being role models in the Scout Movement, family, community, nation and state by showing attitude, responsibility, tenacity, patience, fortitude, courtesy, and hospitality.
Rahmalia said she was proud of this achievement as the “National Exemplary Scout” on the 60th Scout Day. Rokib also admitted the same thing. He is also grateful for this achievement.
“This is not an easy process due to many requirements that must be met. But thank God, thanks to the prayers and support from all parties, I was chosen to be the National Exemplary Scout of Kwarnas,” said Rokib.
Rahmalia, who was born in Tanjung Karang, Lampung on August 18, 1996, is a graduate of the Indonesian Language Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK). She was active in campus scouting activities, namely in the Fatahillah-Nyi Mas Gandasari Pandega Racana Council.
She is also active in various activities, both at the regional level such as the Scout Service Camp (Kartika) in Palembang and at the national level such as the 13th State Islamic Religious University (PWN PTKIN) National Wirakarya Camp in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi.
Meanwhile, Rokib, who was born in Tangerang, Banten, April 8, 1996, is a master’s degree student of Islamic Education department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training. His undergraduate education was taken in the same department and faculty.
Rokib's experience in scouting activities is also unquestionable. In addition to being active in the UIN Jakarta scout movement, he is now serves as the 1st Secretary of the DKD DKI Jakarta for the 2019-2024 period. (usa/ns)
