1,800 participants take UTBK SMM-PTN Barat selection at UIN Jakarta

Rectorate, UIN News Online – A total of 1,800 participants for the SMM-PTN Barat selection took the Computer-Based Writing Examination (UTBK) at UIN Jakarta on 28 June-7 July 2021. They were spread across 14 laboratory rooms at six location points.

The first day of selection begins on Monday (28/6/2021) by applying strict health protocol. UTBK is divided into two exam sessions per day, the morning session starting at 08.00 and the afternoon session starting at 13.00.

The six locations used as UTBK are the National Information and Communication Technology (NICT) building, the Faculty of Medicine building, the Faculty of Health Science building, the Faculty of Economics and Business building, the Faculty of Adab and Humanities building, and the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) building, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training in Bojongsari, Depok.

Based on UIN News Online observation, the implementation of the first day of UTBK went quite smoothly. However, the UTBK Ciputat campus experienced a power outage within a few minutes. Meanwhile, at the PPG Bojongsari campus, the internet was shut down within a few minutes during the afternoon or second session of the exam.

UTBK SMM-PTN Barat will last until July 7, 2021 regionally and attended by 17 PTNs who are members of the PTN Cooperation Agency for the western part of Indonesia. In this selection path, UIN Jakarta offers 26 secular study programs with a total quota of 150 participants. (usa/ns)
