111 UM-PTKIN Pathway Students at UIN Jakarta to Receive Smart Indonesia Card for Higher Education Scholarship

Rectorate Building, UIN Online News — A total of 111 new students admitted to UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta through the State Islamic Religious Higher Education Entrance Examination (UM-PTKIN) pathway for the 2025/2026 Academic Year are confirmed to receive the Smart Indonesia Card for Higher Education (KIP-K) scholarship. The list of recipients will be announced on Monday, July 14, 2025.

This was stated by Vice Rector for Student Affairs of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., at the Rectorate Building on Friday (July 11, 2025). “Insha Allah (God willing), 111 new students from the UM-PTKIN pathway will receive the KIP-K scholarship,” he said.

Vice Rector Ali explained that the quota for KIP-K recipients specifically for the UM-PTKIN pathway in the 2025/2026 Academic Year is set at 111 students. Meanwhile, the number of students who applied for KIP-K reached 451 by the end of the registration period.

“The total number of KIP Kuliah UM-PTKIN pathway applicants was 451 students. All of them must be verified and validated by their respective faculties before being designated as KIP-K recipients,” he clarified.

The data verification and validation process is conducted at the faculty level, which is the intended field of study for KIP Kuliah recipients. After this process is completed, the official announcement of KIP-K recipients and the amount of their Single Tuition Fee (UKT) will be made on July 14, 2025.

For context, the Smart Indonesia Card for Higher Education (KIP-K) Program is an education cost assistance program from the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, channeled through the Directorate of Islamic Religious Higher Education (Diktis) of the Directorate General of Islamic Education. This program is aimed at high-achieving students from economically disadvantaged families.
