101 CPNS UIN Jakarta Receives Decree of Assignment of the Ministry of Religious Affairs RI, Synergy of Various Scientific Fields
Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN Online News — A total of 101 Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially received their Assignment Decrees at the Harun Nasution Auditorium on Thursday (June 5, 2025). This inauguration marks a significant moment in the integration of these CPNS into the academic and bureaucratic environment of the university.
On this occasion, the Assignment Decrees (SK Penugasan) were symbolically handed over by UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D. In his address, the Rector emphasized the crucial role of the CPNS across various scientific fields within UIN Jakarta. He conveyed that the presence of these CPNS must bring new energy, a collaborative spirit, and a vision of sustainability in institutional development.
“CPNS must be able to integrate with various fields within UIN Jakarta. In the planning sector, for instance, mature thought is needed to design sustainability and innovation that supports the university's advancement,” he stated.
The decree handover was also attended by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ahmad Tholabi, M.A., Vice Rector for General Administration, Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi, M.A., Heads of Bureaus, Deans, and the Director of UIN Jakarta's Postgraduate School.
Acting Head of the General Administration and Personnel Bureau, Drs. Teguh Sarwono, M.Si., reported that this inauguration is not merely a ceremonial event but a crucial starting point for building a clean, professional campus bureaucracy that upholds Islamic values.
“This is not just a ceremonial event, but a historical moment in building a clean bureaucracy for the UIN Jakarta environment, and it is expected to uphold Islamic values,” he revealed.
The Head of the General Administration Bureau also explained that the 101 CPNS come from diverse scientific backgrounds and will serve as teaching and educational staff distributed across all work units within the campus. He hopes that these CPNS will strengthen inter-institutional synergy and support the realization of excellent higher education governance.
“These CPNS come from various backgrounds. They are a new force that will strengthen the academic, administrative, and overall institutional development service system. Synergy between departments is crucial to realizing UIN Jakarta's grand vision,” he added.
Meanwhile, Acting Secretary-General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Suyitno, M.Ag., was also present and provided direction. He emphasized that the handover of the Assignment Decrees should not only be interpreted as a mere administrative appointment but also as a form of moral responsibility to build an adaptive, inclusive, and environmentally friendly work culture.
“Becoming a CPNS within the Ministry of Religious Affairs is not just about working, but about how we make religious values the foundation for serving the public. This is a moral responsibility that must be continuously upheld,” he expressed.
In line with this, the decree handover was also linked to a tree-planting activity carried out by the CPNS as a symbol of environmental concern and a commitment to nurturing the earth as part of the Islamic values taught.
