One of the accepted students, Nadiya Dinar Ambarwati from the Religious Studies Department, explained her reasons and motivation for choosing the Thematic KKN in Lombok over other locations.

"I am very interested in choosing Lombok because its culture and traditions are still very strong. I feel compelled to contribute to preserving the local cultural values there," she said on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

She also mentioned some of the main programs that will be carried out during the KKN in Lombok, such as "Learning & Language Spirit for Children," "Creative Workshops," and "Healthy Village, Fresh Village."

Meanwhile, Lailatul Fajriyanti from the Translation Department shared her views on the program. "I chose the Thematic KKN in Lombok because of my interest in Lombok's culture and my desire to serve outside the region," she said on Sunday, May 26, 2024.

Lailatul also revealed her plan to introduce technology to facilitate education and basic programs that are very beneficial, such as setting up a literacy park.

For departure preparations, Nadiya explained the steps she has taken. "For preparations, I have made a health certificate as required by the PPM, and we have also created a group structure with the selected students for the Thematic KKN in Lombok, for the pre- and post-KKN reports," she added.

The KKN Coordinator, Kaula Fahmi, stated that the theme of the Thematic KKN in Lombok this year is similar to last year's, focusing on socio-cultural aspects, with a major emphasis on religious moderation. The aim is for students to directly observe the social, cultural, and cultural life of the Lombok community.
