UIN Jakarta Officially Inaugurates New Student Organization Leaders for 2024/2025 Term.

Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held an inauguration ceremony for the new student organization (Ormawa) leaders for the 2024/2025 term. The ceremony, held on Wednesday, May 17, 2024, included 16 Student Activity Units (UKM) and 3 Autonomous Organizations (LO). This inauguration is a significant moment for students to demonstrate their commitment to developing creativity and leadership within the campus environment.

The event, which took place at the Harun Nasution Auditorium, was attended by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., the student affairs team, and representatives from each Ormawa.

The Ormawa inaugurated include the Jayakarta Student Regiment Unit “Wira Dharma” (Menwa), Foreign Languages Association (FLAT), Riak Student Music Community, Ranita Environmental and Humanitarian Student Group (KMPLHK), Student Press Institute (LPM) Institut, Indonesian Red Cross Volunteer Corps (KSR PMI), Campus Da'wah Institution (LDK) Syahid, Kalacitra Photography Community, Scouts, Student Qari’-Qari’ah Association (HIQMA), Student Sports Federation (Forsa), Student Cooperative (Kopma), Arkadia Nature Lovers Group (KPA), Syahid Theater, and the Marching Band.

For the LO, representatives from the Bidik Misi Student Forum (FORMABI-KIP), Fatahillah Researchers for Science and Humanity (Fresh), and the Association for the International Exchange of Students in Economics and Commerce (AIESEC) attended.

The event began with the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, a recitation of verses from the Quran, and a prayer. The inauguration was opened by Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., with the inauguration decree read by the Coordinator of the Student Affairs Team, M. Furqon, S.Pd.I., M.A. The event continued with the reading of the inauguration pledge by all participants.

The Vice-Rector for Student Affairs congratulated all the elected leaders and managers. He also entrusted the newly elected leaders with the responsibility to uphold high integrity, honesty, discipline, and dedication.

“It is time for UIN Jakarta to think about how we can stand out as a leading campus in the country,” he said.

The event proceeded with the reading of the oath of service and the signing of the integrity pact by each Ormawa leader, concluding with a group photo session.
