UIN Jakarta Covid-19 Task Force: We must obey the health protocols

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The Head of UIN Jakarta Covid-19 Task Force Heri Hendarto asked UIN Jakarta academic community to strictly implement the health protocols (wearing of masks, handwashing, and social distancing) in order to protect ourselves and our loved ones against Covid-19 infection.

This was said by Hari during the virtual socialization on Covid-19 Prevention on, Thursday (8/10/2020). The event was hosted by the AUK Bureau Chief and inaugurated by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis. The event was attended by employees from the rectorate, faculty and institutions. According to Hari, the Covid-19 handling can be done if everyone implements health protocols properly. This is because the chain of infection will spread easily if we do not get used to living clean and healthy.

“UIN Jakarta itself continues its efforts to break the chain of infection in various ways. Apart from encouraging the state civil apparatus (ASN) to implement the health protocols, we must also maintain clean and healty working environtment,” said Hari

On the same occasion, the AUK Bureau Chief of UIN Jakarta Kastolan stated that his parties will continue to take preventive measures against Covid-19. Among other things, the AUK Bureau will carry out cleaning and spraying disinfectant throughout the campus area. In addition, his party will implement strict rules to every visitor who comes to UIN Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her speech said that the disease originates from God and will definitely bring goodness. Allah provides medicine and solutions to all problems, be itself, family, or society. This is as mentioned in the sixth verse of surah Ash-Shuraa.

She also added that UIN Jakarta itself has long implemented health protocols. However, said the Rector, the importance of habituating the application of health protocols seems to have been neglected.

“In the future, we want all academic community to obey the health protocols. Everyone must wear a mask, wash their hands regularly, and maintain social distancing,” said Rector. (usa/ns)
