UIN Jakarta becomes the first PTKIN who carry out Covid-19 vaccination

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta becomes the first PTKIN to administer the Covid-19 vaccine. Approximately 700 lecturers of UIN Jakarta have carried out vaccinations on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, (6-8 / 3/2021) at the Faculty of Medicine (FK) and the Faculty of Health Sciences (Fikes), campus II of UIN Jakarta.

Present in the event, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, Dean of FK Heri Hendarto, Dean of Fikes Zilhadia, and AUK Bureau Chief Kastolan.

Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis to UIN News Online on Monday (03/08/2021) said that the implementation of this vaccination program was UIN Jakarta's quick response to the Covid-19 National Vaccination Program.

“UIN Jakarta responded quickly to the government's program and became the first PTIKN to carry out the vaccination program,” said Rector.

Based on UIN News Online observation, It was seen that several professors were also present to carry out vaccinations, including Komaruddin Hidayat (Rector of UIN Jakarta for the priof of 2006-2010), Dede Rosyada (Rector of UIN Jakarta for the period of 2015-2019), Murodi (Vice Rector of Cooperation and Institutional Development for the period of 2015-2019) ), Abdul Mujib (Professor at the Faculty of Psychology), and Syukron Kamil MA (Professor at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities).

On the same occasion, UIN Jakarta’s vaccination team member Abdul Halim reported that during the three days of vaccination, there were around 1200 lecturers whose resident registration numbers were registered by the system.

After the lecturer vaccination, he added, his party will immediately schedule the educational staff vaccination which is planned for next Tuesday-Wednesday. (usa)
