Rector: Covid-19 task force of UIN Jakarta plays an active role in suppressing the outbreak
Ciputat, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta continues to maximize its contribution in breraking the chain of the Covid-19 infection rate. The Covid 19 Task Force, which consists of members of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences and other units within UIN Jakarta, will continue to to take preventive measures in order to reduce the Covid-19 transmission in the community.
This was said by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her remarks during the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Bertakbir event, Monday (07/19/2021).
According to Rector Amany, the Covid-19 task force of UIN Jakarta always worked hard in carrying out socialization activities, education on health protocols, and handling the impact of the infection in the campus environment and surrounding communities.
Towards the odd semester of 2021, she continued, UIN Jakarta through the Covid 19 Task Force has prepared a wider vaccination targets. She also revealed that UIN Jakarta did not allocate its infrastructure facilities as an isoman (self quarantine) and treatment facility. Apart from not having permission from the local government, the Indonesian Ministry of Health and the local General Hospital also did not recommend UIN Jakarta.
“This is because the dormitory buildings and guesthouses are still occupied by students who decide to stay on campus, especially by international students and located in a residential area,” she said
Even the staff of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, and laboratories are working beyond their capacity throughout this pandemic.
“All employees of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences worked every day wothout stopping, seven days a week during this pandemic. May Allah bless them with good health,” said Rector. (usa/zm)
