Rector appreciates the Covid-19 handling team performance

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis appreciates the Covid-19 handling team performance in UIN Jakarta environtment. They are considered to have worked well and are responsive to the situation faced by the academic community and the surrounding community. The same appreciation was also given to volunteers and donors, both in the form of energy, financial and moral support.

This was said by the Rector to UIN News Online through WhatsApp messenger, Monday (04/13/2020) when responding to developments and the situation in the UIN Jakarta environment since mid-March.

“As the Rector of UIN Jakarta, I greatly appreciate the performance and assistance of all parties, both institutionally and individually, in minimizing the Covid-19 impact in the UIN Jakarta environment,” said Rector.

Chancellor Amany Lubis said, since the implementation of learning and working from home, a number of institutions at UIN Jakarta have taken positive steps in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. Among the institutions involved and participating were the Task Force Team, Social Trust Fund (STF), Dharma Wanita Persatuan, Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital, faculty, and security guard corps.

These institutions are always at the forefront in efforts to prevent and mitigate the impact of Covid-19 in UIN Jakarta and surrounding environments. In addition to various institutions, active participation was also carried out by a number of groups who felt concerned and empathetic about the impact of the virus.

Amany also hopes that all components at UIN Jakarta will continue to work together to overcome this impact. Through the spirit of caring, philanthropic soul, and inclusiveness, will have a positive impact not only for UIN Jakarta but also for the community.

“I am very grateful to those who work together to overcome the impact of Covid-19, both institutionally and individually,” she said.

Rector also appealed to all academic community follow all health protocols. The synergy of all community members in maintaining health is expected to be an effective anticipation of the spread of this virus.
