Dr. Olatunji Shobande adalah seorang sarjana dan praktisi terkemuka yang saat ini menjabat sebagai Assistant Professor di Departemen Administrasi Bisnis, Hartwick College, Amerika Serikat. Beliau memiliki rekam jejak akademis internasional yang kuat, dengan riwayat pengajaran di berbagai institusi bergengsi di Inggris seperti Teesside University, University of Aberdeen, dan University of Sunderland. Kualifikasi pendidikannya mencakup gelar Ph.D. dalam bidang Ekonomi dari University of Aberdeen, gelar MSc dengan predikat Distinction dari University of Lagos, serta gelar Sarjana Ekonomi dengan predikat First-Class Honors dari Caleb University.

Kepakaran intelektual beliau mencakup bidang ekonomi, strategi bisnis, keuangan korporat, hingga keuangan iklim dan keberlanjutan. Selain karier akademisnya, Dr. Shobande memiliki sertifikasi kepemimpinan eksekutif dari Harvard dalam bidang negosiasi serta dari Cranfield dalam bidang manajemen tingkat lanjut. Beliau diakui sebagai Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) dan aktif dalam berbagai asosiasi profesional global seperti American Economic Association (AEA) dan International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE). Melalui risetnya, beliau berkomitmen pada pengembangan kebijakan inovatif yang mendukung transisi rendah karbon dan tata kelola ekonomi global yang berkelanjutan.

Saat ini, dirinya aktif berkontribusi sebagai Senior Research Fellow di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FEB) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta untuk periode tahun 2025. Pada penugasan ini, beliau bermitra secara akademik dan riset dengan Ali Rama, S.E., M.Ec., Ph.D, dosen FEB UIN Jakarta. Kolaborasi ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat jejaring internasional UIN Jakarta sekaligus mendorong integrasi keilmuan dan riset berstandar global.
