Head of COVID-19 Task Force: None of academic community of UIN Jakarta infected by Covid-19

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The head of UIN Jakarta Covid-19 Task Force Heri Hendarto ensured that none of the UIN Jakarta academics community were infected with COVID-19 even though this outbreak had become a pandemic.

This was said by Heri to UIN News Online on Wednesday (04/01/2020). “Alhamdulillah, we have not received any reports from the academic community, including students, who were infected. We also hope that all academic community of UIN Jakarta will stay healthy until the pandemic ends” he said.

Since it was formed on March 24, the team has worked extra and involved a number of people, such as the faculty leaders and the head of the institution.

This team continues to monitor the spread of the virus, provide understanding and information quickly, accurately and transparently to the community in the UIN Jakarta campus environment, as well as ensuring health insurance for campus residents along with efforts to break the chain of transmission and infection.

In addition, this team also has the task to help the government to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. The assistance includes preparing digital innovations that can help prevent, report and disseminate the information about Covid-19 to the community.

In order to provide this information, the Team created a special website that can be accessed through https://covid19.uinjkt.ac.id. The website contains all accurate and fast information about the Covid-19.

In the future, he continued, the Task Force will involve all elements in the campus environment, including student organizations, in handling the spreading of Covid-19.

Hari also advised the academic community of UIN Jakarta to follow the government's recommendations by maintaining personal health, doing social distancing, staying at home, learning from home, and working from home.
