Profil

Associate Professor Dr. Wannee Deoisres adalah seorang akademisi, perawat, dan pemimpin pendidikan keperawatan terkemuka asal Thailand. Saat ini, beliau menjabat sebagai Dekan Fakultas Keperawatan di Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, Thailand.

Latar belakang pendidikannya sangat kuat, dengan gelar Ph.D. in Nursing dari Case Western Reserve University, Amerika Serikat (1999). Sebelumnya, beliau telah lama berdedikasi sebagai pengajar dan peneliti di Burapha University, dengan pengalaman mengajar di semua jenjang, mulai dari sarjana, magister, hingga doktoral. Mata kuliah yang diampunya mencakup teori keperawatan, metodologi penelitian, keperawatan keluarga, serta praktik lanjutan keperawatan maternitas dan kebidanan.

Sebagai peneliti yang sangat produktif, fokus kajiannya berpusat pada kesehatan ibu dan anak, kebidanan, kesehatan reproduksi remaja, kesehatan perempuan, keperawatan keluarga, serta pendidikan keperawatan. Karya-karyanya telah dipublikasikan di berbagai jurnal internasional bereputasi tinggi, seperti Journal of Clinical Nursing, American Journal of Medical Genetics, Journal of Family Nursing, dan BMC Public Health. Beliau juga aktif dalam kolaborasi riset lintas negara yang membahas isu adaptasi keluarga, kesehatan ibu remaja, dan implementasi praktik berbasis bukti.

Di luar aktivitas penelitian dan pengajaran, Dr. Deoisres berperan aktif dalam membimbing tesis dan disertasi, serta turut mengembangkan program studi keperawatan berstandar internasional. Beliau juga merupakan anggota berbagai organisasi profesi bergengsi, seperti International Family Nursing Association dan Thai Nursing and Midwifery Council, serta berkontribusi sebagai anggota dewan editorial untuk sejumlah jurnal keperawatan nasional dan internasional.

Atas kontribusi besarnya, Dr. Deoisres telah menerima berbagai penghargaan bergengsi, antara lain:
- Innovative Contribution to Family Nursing Award (Kanada, 2005)
- Outstanding Nurse Award dari Nurses’ Association of Thailand (2015)
- Outstanding Alumni Award dari Sappasittiprasong College of Nursing (2005)
- Outstanding Faculty Member Award dari Burapha University (1988)
- Menjadi Visiting Professor di Wenzhou Medical University, China (2018–2020)

Dengan pengalaman lebih dari empat dekade di dunia akademik dan penelitian, Dr. Wannee Deoisres diakui sebagai salah satu tokoh kunci dalam pengembangan ilmu keperawatan, khususnya bidang keperawatan keluarga, maternitas, dan kesehatan reproduksi di Thailand dan kawasan Asia Tenggara.
