UIN Jakarta Holds Ceremony to Commemorate Pancasila Sanctity Day

Student Center Field, UIN News Online - Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta held a ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Miracle Day at the Student Center Field on Tuesday (1/10). The solemn ceremony was attended by the entire academic community of UIN Jakarta.

Vice Rector 1 for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, S.Ag., S.H., M.H., M.A., acted as the ceremony inspector. The series of events included the raising of the red and white flag, recitation of Pancasila, silence, reading the text of the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution, and the pronunciation of the pledge led directly by the ceremony inspector.

On his occasion, Prof. Tholabi emphasized the importance of living the values of Pancasila in everyday life. “This ceremony is held so that the values of Pancasila are always present in the daily life of the UIN Jakarta academic community,” he said. And also added, “Let us live the values of Pancasila in every aspect of our lives in order to be good servants of the state.”

The ceremony was closed by reading a prayer and singing the song “Bagimu Negeri” which was followed by all participants. This commemoration is a momentum for all UIN Jakarta residents to reflect on the meaning of Pancasila as the basis of the state and the nation's outlook on life.

This event shows UIN Jakarta's commitment in instilling the spirit of nationalism and Pancasila values among its academic community, while preparing students to become the next generation of national character and insight.
