Supporting Education, STF UIN Jakarta Raises Scholarship Funds at the 137th Graduation Ceremony

UIN Jakarta, UIN Online News— The Social Trust Fund (STF) scholarship program of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully raised a total donation of IDR 61,476,073 on Monday (September 1, 2025).

The fundraising was conducted over four days during the 137th Graduation Ceremony to support the education of outstanding or underprivileged students at UIN Jakarta, break the cycle of poverty, reduce school dropout rates, and foster a generation that is both competent and of strong character.

Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., expressed that the Social Trust Fund (STF) has provided significant assistance to students in pursuing their education.

“It is not about how much we give, but how consistent we are in sharing. So today, let us share for the Social Trust Fund (STF) endowment. Whether it’s five thousand, ten thousand, twenty thousand, a hundred thousand, or even a million Rupiah—it still counted,” he persuaded.

During the rehearsal for the graduation on Thursday (August 21, 2025), STF collected IDR 1,586,000. On the first day of the 137th Grand Graduation Ceremony, Saturday (August 23, 2025), the fundraising gathered IDR 13,354,920, with IDR 10,813,420 coming through QRIS and bank transfers and IDR 2,541,500 via donation boxes.

On the second day, Sunday (August 24, 2025), STF raised IDR 20,260,235, including IDR 15,751,735 via QRIS and bank transfers and IDR 4,508,500 via donation boxes.

For the third day, Saturday (August 30, 2025), the amount collected reached IDR 12,354,303, with IDR 8,857,303 via QRIS and transfers and IDR 3,497,000 from donation boxes.

On the final day, Sunday (August 31, 2025), STF raised IDR 13,920,615, consisting of IDR 10,741,115 from QRIS and transfers and IDR 3,179,500 from donation boxes.
