SNBT Information

GENERAL INFORMATION

TEST BASED NATIONAL SELECTION (SNBT) 2025

Objectives

1. Predicting prospective students who are able to complete their studies at State Universities (PTN) with the predicted graduate year and result. PTN is a higher education institution organized by the government, including Academic PTN, Vocational PTN, and/or State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN).
2. Providing opportunities for prospective students to take the test freely by choosing the appropriate test location.
3. Screening prospective students who are predicted to be able to complete their studies at PTN well and on time based on the results of UTBK and/or other criteria jointly determined by PTN.
4. Providing opportunities for prospective students to choose PTN across regions and provinces.

General Requirements

1. SNBT participants are only allowed to take the 2025 UTBK once.
2. The results of the 2024 UTBK are only valid for taking the SNBT and acceptance at PTN in 2025.
3. SNBT 2025 is carried out based on the results of the UTBK and can be supplemented with other criteria in accordance with special provisions set by the PTN in question.
4. Students who have already passed the 2025 SNBP Track, 2024 SNBP and 2023 National Selection for State Universities (SNMPTN) cannot take part in the 2025 UTBK-SNBT

Requirements for Students

1. Participants must have a Student SNPMB Account. Student SNPMB Account Registration can be acquired at 2025 SNPMB Portal
2. Indonesian citizens (WNI) who have a Population Identification Number (NIK).
3. Senior High School/Vocational High School/Islamic Senior High School students in grade 12 or final grade in 2025.
4. Package C students in 2025 with a maximum age of 25 years (as of July 1, 2024).
   Students who do not yet have a diploma in points 3 and 4 must bring a certificate of class 12 students accompanied by at least:&
• identity, including name, class, NISN and NPSN
• recent photo (colored)
• signature of the Principal of School/Madrasah; and
• school stamp
5. Graduates of SMA/SMK/MA or equivalent in 2023 and 2024
6. Graduates of Paket C in 2024 and 2023 with a maximum age of 25 years (as of July 1, 2024).
7. Especially for high school or equivalent graduates from abroad, they must have an equivalent diploma.
8. Participants, who choose study programs in the fields of Arts and/or Sports, are required to upload a portfolio.
9. Adequate health so it will not to interfere during the exam.
10. Participants with special needs, who are blind, are required to upload a Statement of Blindness.
11. UTBK fee that has been paid.

Test's Material

1. Scholastic Potential Test (TPS)
TPS measures cognitive abilities that are considered important for success in formal schools, especially higher education. This part of the test includes: General Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Ability, General Knowledge and Understanding, and Reading and Writing Comprehension Ability. Quantitative ability will include Basic Mathematics Knowledge and Mastery.
2. Literacy in Indonesian and English
Measuring the ability to understand, use, evaluate, reflect on various types of texts to solve problems and develop individual capacity as Indonesian citizens and international citizens so that they can productively contribute to society.
3. Mathematical Reasoning
Measuring the ability to think using mathematical concepts, procedures, facts, and tools to solve everyday problems in various types of contexts that are relevant to individuals as citizens of Indonesia and international world.

UTBK-SNBT Registration

The general stages of UTBK-SNBT registration are as follows:

1. Login to the SNPMB Portal and Select the UTBK-SNBT Registration Menu
   Log in to SNPMB Portal using an SNPMB account.
2. Completing Biodata
   Fill in and complete the biodata, upload your latest color photo, and verify the biodata and download and upload a statement of blindness and/or visual impairment (if there is any).
3. Choosing a Study Program and Uploading a Portfolio
   Uploading a portfolio is a must for participants who choose a study program in the Arts and/or Sports Fields.
4. Choosing an UTBK Center
   Obtaining an UTBK fee payment slip for non-KIP Kuliah applicants.
5. Making Payments
   Institutions and payment mechanisms will be informed sooner.
6. Downloading the UTBK-SNBT Participant Card;
   Log in to SNPMB Portal and select the UTBK-SNBT registration menu to download the UTBK-SNBT participant card.

Rules for Choosing Study Programs

1. Each participant is free to choose a study program at an Academic State University, Vocational State University, and/or PTKIN.
2. Each participant is allowed to choose a maximum of 4 (four) study programs consisting of 2 (two) Academic Program choices (Bachelor's Degree) and 2 (two) Vocational Program choices (Diploma Three and Diploma Four/Applied Bachelor's Degree) with the provisions as in the table attached.
3. The consequential order in selecting study programs marks the priority of your choice.

Accommodation Capacity

1. Accommodation capacity for every single of PTN in 2025 can be accessed at sub menu PTN SNBT
2. Requirements for acceptance into a study program can be accessed on the PTN page of your choice.

UTBK SNBT 2025 Fee

Participants pay the UTBK fee as a requirement for UTBK-SNBT 2024 registration of Rp.200,000.00 (Two hundred thousand rupiah).

KIP Kuliah Scholarship Applicants

1. Student who applies for educational assistance under the Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP Kuliah) scheme must first learn the KIP Kuliah program registration procedure.
2. KIP Kuliah, which is registered at the Ministry of Education and Culture, is only valid for study program choices at Academic PTN and Vocational PTN.
