Promoting Enhanced Collaboration in National Resilience, UIN Jakarta Signs Partnership with Lemhannas RI

Aula Dwiwarna Purwa, UIN News Online — UIN Jakarta supports the national resilience program by strengthening the academic environment as part of efforts to strengthen the country's resilience. In line with that, UIN Jakarta signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement with the Indonesian National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas), on Tuesday (12/11/2024).

It is known that the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet led by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, General TNI (Ret.) H. Prabowo Subianto, continues to encourage the strengthening of national resilience. Strengthening collaboration and cooperation between agencies is one of the efforts to implement this task.

UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., stated that this collaboration shows UIN Jakarta's commitment in preparing academicians who understand national resilience, geopolitics, and various global challenges.

“UIN Jakarta, in signing a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with Lemhannas, continues to strive to prepare academicians who understand state resilience, geopolitics and matters related to global challenges,” said the Rector of UIN Jakarta.

Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si., revealed that this cooperation is part of Lemhannas' duties in providing national resilience education for future leaders, especially in higher education.

“As an institution in the field of national resilience, we continue to strive and synergize to continue providing education to prospective national leaders, one of which is with this memorandum of understanding agreement,” said the governor of Lemhannas RI who is an alumnus of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities of UIN Jakarta. Furthermore, Lemhannas is also a Non-Ministerial Government Institution under and responsible to the President through the Minister who organizes coordination, synchronization and control of the Ministry's affairs in the administration of government in the field of politics, law and security.
